General Catering Assistant, Basingstoke (job ref 078)

bartlett mitchell require an out-going personality to look after the front of house service at a very busy and soon to be developed staff restaurant in Basingstoke.

Working full-time, Monday to Friday. 730am to 330pm, 37.5 hours per week. £6.39 per hour and you will be part of a team of 7 and expected to be very flexible and adaptable as the business needs change through the day.

Previous experience preferred but not essential as full training will be given.

Duties include, delivering five star customer service everyday, serving and liasing with customers, till work, light cleaning duties, preparing sandwiches, delivering hospitality as and when, topping up the counter, we need a real all rounder.

You will need to be very front of house focused as your main duties will require you to be working on the counters through the day - this is a busy site and a demanding role.

Head Chef, Basingstoke (job ref 078)

Experienced head chef required to work at one of our busy sites in Basingstoke.
Working Mon-Fri, 7am start.  Salary £26 - £30,000 per annum, dependent on experience.

You will need to have previous similar experience and a proven effective track record, strong man management skills to lead and inspire the kitchen team. High standards of due diligence, ability to work to a strict budget, innovate and use the freshest seasonal ingredients to write and develop menus.
Great communication skills are needed as this is a very customer facing role and will require you to theatre cook in front of the customers.
You will need to have all the relevant qualifications to support your application.

Services offered on site are breakfast, lunch, deli and coffee bar long term, vending and extensive hospitality with some director's dinin. You will be working in the main building but there are a further 2 buiildings close by - numbers on site are around 700.

The catering operation is being re-fitted over the coming months and part of your initial role will be to ensure the deliverance of high standards through this transition-albeit it may be in temporary kitchens or on reduced services.

Catering Assistant with Kitchen Porter duties (job ref 114), London SW1

Working Mon-Fri, 9am to 430pm, £6.50 per hour, 35 hours paid per week in this very busy head office catering offer. You will need to be hard working and a great communicator at all levels as this is a very visual, front of house position.

Your duties include washing-up, putting away deliveries, light cleaning duties, making sandwiches and preparing salads, serving customers.

Working in a small team you will need to have a flexible approach and able to work well under pressure.

Monday - Friday 930am - 3pm, 25 hours paid per week. £6.50 per hour.

Working in a small team of 3 in a busy staff restaurant in Maidenhead you will be required to deliver great customer service everyday.
Duties include serving customers, food production, light cleaning duties, washing up, working on the till, making sandwiches and salad bar prep.

You will need to be a great communicator and have a flexible approach. Hard working and a great personality a must for this role.

Chef/Cook, Swiss Cottage - London (job ref 077)

Chef/Cook required to work full-time in a busy college catering operation. TERM-TIME ONLY.
Working Monday to Friday from 7.30am - 3.30pm for a 37.5 hour week. £6.95 per hour.

A busy college catering service offering breakfast. lunch, hospitality and a coffee shop service which is used by students and teachers alike.

Previous experience essential in a similar role and a real talent for great food and great service.

Working as part of the kitchen team your duties will include serving, kitchen production, light cleaning, stock control, ordering, stock taking, menu planning, due diligence compliance to name a few.

Full training is given for this position but previous experience and qualifications to support this application is preferable but not essential.
