Andy completes an annual audit of each site to ensure health & safety compliance, as well as being available for emergencies and swift responses to any incidents. This audit process is managed by a percentage achievement of benchmark results to ensure compliance and improvement is in evidence.
Andy started his training as a chef, working in hotels and restaurants in Scotland and moved down south with the Trust Houses Forte, as it was then, and finally into contract catering. He always had an interest in Food Safety and Health & Safety, so has done various courses at university and colleges over the years to learn more. Andy decided to move into Food Safety and Healty & Safety full-time a few years ago, and set up his company, AFCC, Any Fool Can Cook, but can they cook safely?
Andy is now manager and advisor to bartlett mitchell in all aspects of health & safety and food safety. He also provide the necessary food safety strategies and health and safety training accredited to the Chartered Institute of Environmental Health.
Andy drives and measures bartlett mitchell to achieve a high standard of food safety and health & safety at all of the company locations
