our nominated charities

bartlett mitchell have a number of charitable opportunities and worthwhile causes that we support. These fall into two categories:

  • nominated head office charities
  • client & individual charities

This is by no means an exhaustive list, but feature some of our preferred charities.

 

nominated charities

White Lodge Centre 
Based in Chertsey, the White Lodge Centre supports disabled children, adults, their families and carers in Surrey and the surrounding areas.  bartlett mitchell are forging strong links with the White Lodge Centre through fundraising, training of the on-site staff and volunteering.

Guide Dogs for the Blind  
A national charity, bartlett mitchell have been donating funds to Guide Dogs for the Blind since inception. Our Chairman has been a loving owner of many a retired Guide Dog.

One water                
bartlett mitchell buys bottled water from one water – all the profits they make go to building unique PlayPump™ water pumping systems overseas which will improve people’s lives by providing free, clean water. Their water is sourced in Heartsease, Powys, just over the Welsh border. bartlett mitchell have now reached our 1st PlayPump in Lesotho http://www.onedifference.org/projects/ha-mareka-tsheoneng-village-lesotho

Red Nose Day                  
Making a real difference to thousands of peoples lives, across the UK and Africa

Comic Relief                     
It comes ever two years and we provide marketing & merchandising facts for all units to participate in.

Macmillan Coffee Morning 
bartlett mitchell are happy to put money towards individual fundraising events and activities our team participate in.

Other ventures

We are happy to support all our team members in their own charitable pursuits.

George, from a central London unit, is a keen cyclist and raised over £3,500 in 2009 with his sponsored bike rides: London to Brighton (56 miles); London to Oxford (98 miles). He is aiming for London to Paris next year (291 miles over 5 days). At the same site, we also sponsor their local football team.
