June Harvey: Director of HR & Learning |
|
June leads our HR & training for our catering operations and is an active ingredient for every team member, often through TUPE situations, knowing if bartlett mitchell is the right company for them and to focus on team spirit. June is also responsible for the Hospitality Assured accreditation, our Investors in People accreditation and our magnificent below average team turnover of 21%.
After gaining chef’s qualifications at Thames Valley University, June worked at several local hotels & restaurants, before moving into contract catering. After progressing through to the roles of Head Chef and Catering Manager, she decided that training & development were her passion, so set about combining both her ‘foodie’ skills & management experience to diversify in this direction. As well as concentrating on the legislative side that is so important in catering, high standards of customer service are a primary focus, whilst ensuring that people are involved with the training rather than just sitting & listening. She is core to enabling people to carry out their roles confidently and efficiently contributes greatly to achieving the bartlett mitchell official policy of ‘Having Fun at Work’.
"high standards of customer service are my primary focus, and at the same time I want people to be fully involved in their training and development rather than just sitting & listening. I absolutely believe that you 'choose your attitude'!"
