The Chimney Baker makes a unique traditional Hungarian freshly baked pastry called a chimney cake (called Kürtőskalács in Hungary or Trdelnik in Czechoslovakia).  It’s popular at fairs and festivals throughout Hungary. It is made by wrapping a stripe of dough on a special rolling pin which doubles as a spit. It is then glazed and baked by rotating it over a bbq until the glaze becomes caramelised. The theatre turns a meal into an event!

It can be served sweet or savoury and flavoured with cinnamon, vanilla, coconut, raspberry, nutella, cheese, hot dog style….the sky is the limit!

The chimney cake is perfect for weddings, birthday parties, BBQ and Banquets.
