2017 turned into a great year for Perkee, our Fairtrade and premium sustainable coffee. We sold more than 500,000 cups of Perkee and it became the most popular coffee in our business. 

The year was topped off by Perkee winning two industry awards;

  • FSM Marketing Award
  • Eat Out Awards – Best New Brand 2017, competing against Carluccio’s, Yo!Sushi, Prezzo and Wagamama

Miguel Camara, our brands manager is developing a new retail concept and speciality coffee for customers. To strengthen the partnership, Wendy Bartlett and Lin Dickens are visiting Nicaragua in 2018 to meet farmers from the Soppexcca co-operative who grow Perkee beans.
