The University of West London’s (UWL) London School of Hospitality and Tourism has honoured some of the biggest names in the industry at a special awards ceremony at the Hilton London Heathrow Airport Terminal 5 Hotel on March 14.

In both the profit and cost sectors, there were recipients. In the cost sector Wendy Bartlett, managing director, Bartlett & Mitchell, was awarded the honour of Master of Business Administration, while restaurant leading lights included chef Heston Blumenthal; restaurateurs Jeremy King and Chris Corbin; Claridge’s general manager Thomas Kochs; and Fred Sirieix, general manager of Galvin at Windows.

“We are acknowledging the immense achievements of these honorary award winners. Their support of the university and our students is invaluable. Prizes were also awarded to our best performing students as they develop into the industry leaders of tomorrow.”
